The active practice of generosity is central to our calling as a Christian people.  Your Cathedral community is growing and thriving, and your legacy gifts enable this community to continue to transform lives, uplift the weary, rejoice in the Good News, and honour God with acts of beauty and service.

Over 89 parishioners, Cathedral leaders and clergy have pledged a legacy gift to the Cathedral, and we extend to you an invitation to join them.  We’re here to help you take this next step on your discipleship journey, and we welcome your ideas and questions!

Are you writing your Will?

By including a bequest in your legal will, you may be able to give a gift of greater value than any gift you might afford today.  A bequest —the most common planned gift —allows you to use all of your assets during your lifetime and leave a portion of them to charity at your death.  You can give a specific asset or amount, or a percentage of your estate. You may also designate how you want the gift used.  Just remember, the Cathedral’s legal name is “Christ Church Parish Vancouver B.C.

Looking for other ways to make a Legacy Gift?

Bequests aren’t the only way to leave a legacy to Christ Church Cathedral.

You can also give Gifts of Securities, Gifts of Life Insurance, Gifts through Charitable Remainder Trusts, Gifts of RRSPs and RRIFs, and Gifts of Charitable Annuities.
