The Park Room is brightly-lit and welcoming
Christ Church Cathedral also has rooms available for use that are suitable for seminars, presentations, meetings and post- or pre-receptions associated with an Upper Level concert.
The Park Room is a bright room with large windows overlooking the waterfall park off Burrard Street. Its capacity is 40-80 depending on the nature of your use.
The Parish Hall is a higher capacity room suited to pre- or post-event receptions, for use as a green room for choirs or full orchestras, large seminars and meetings. Capacity ranges from 100-175.
Pianos, choral risers, AV equipment and more
Christ Church Cathedral has a beautiful Steinway Concert D grand piano, a Kenneth Jones pipe organ, choral risers for up to 100 singers, screens, projectors, and other AV equipment. What we don’t have we can help you get.
Building Use Donations
Christ Church Cathedral requests that user groups make a building donation (rates are in place) for the use of the building and support staff. For concerts and larger scale events we have 4 suggested categories:
Commercial: incorporated producers and enterprises
Non-Profit: groups registered as societies
Partnerships: eligible groups signing on for 2 or more concerts in a calendar year
Emergence Series: subsidized rates for artistic groups who fit certain criteria
