Topic: Feed Yourselves with Questioning
For more than twenty years, Mary Hartman has immersed herself in the plays, the characters and the words of William Shakespeare. The more time she spends in this endeavor, the more she realizes that what Shakespeare provides is questions, not answers.
Mary Hartman is Director of Education and Training at Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival. Since 1987, Mary has acted in and directed dozens of Shakespeare plays, and given students of all ages the opportunity to play Shakespeare. At Bard on the Beach, Mary leads a team of teaching artists in delivering Bard in the Classroom workshops, delivers the popular pre-show talks and podcast introductions and supports the productions as a voice and text coach.
