Follow the Cathedral on Twitter!
We’re getting more social all the time. When Dean Peter Elliott wrote his response to the Vancouver Riots, we posted it to Facebook. And when we did, it generated 700 views in 1 day!
We think we have an important message to share with the world. So we’re sharing it in every way we can. So, find us on twitter (@CCCVancouver). If you don’t have twitter, or want to learn more, we’ve created the quick start guide for you below.

What’s Twitter?
Twitter is a Microblogging service, Social Network, Real-Time Information Network and Social Search Engine all rolled into one.
In short, Twitter is a place where people share what’s on their mind – and it can be great for your business.
Setting Up An Your Twitter Account:
Step 1
Go to http://twitter.com in your favorite browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari, FireFox, or Opera. The Cathedral recommends you update your browser often, and migrate to FireFox if you use Internet Explorer. Because that’s what the experts recommend!
Step 2
Click on Sign Up.
Step 3
Set your username. Choose a name that represents who you are! Or just use your name.
Click Create My Account.
All done! You have a Twitter account!
Customizing Your Account
In the Twitter “What’s Next” section, they list sending out your first tweet as the first step after setting up your profile.
We recommend customizing your profile and background before sending your first tweet.
Step 1
Let’s start customizing your Twitter profile. First we’ll add a profile picture and a short bio.
Click Upload A Profile Picture.
Step 2
From here, you’ll continue on to select an eye-catching photo that represents your business.
Step 3
Choose the photo or logo that you’d like to use for your Twitter Profile.
Click Choose.
Step 4
Double-check to make sure that your photo has been selected.
Then fill out all of the other great stuff Twitter wants to know, like your location, website, and a bio.
Click Save.
Congratulations! Your Profile is updated!
